“I’ve always been interested in creating something beautiful. When I was younger, I thought I wanted to be an interior designer or chef, but it was my roommate in Arizona who ultimately started my fascination with makeup. She was always wearing makeup, and I admired the confidence she would gain from it.”

“The best tips I have for highlighter application are to make sure you target certain areas of the face where the light would naturally hit. My go-to spots are the tops of the cheekbones and the C around the temple — it’s naturally where the sun would hit the skin. I like to have fun with highlighters, using multiple shades on different skin tones. When it comes to makeup application, it’s so important to remember that layering is key. If you spend the time slowly applying small amounts of makeup at a time, you will avoid looking cakey.”
